Born in Cincinnati on January 13, 1860, Daly was a pupil of Duveneck, Noble, and Lutz. He was a member of the Cincinnati Art Club and the American Artists Professional League. He also produced many fine vases while working at the Rookwood Pottery. He is represented in the permanent collection of the Cincinnati Art Museum.
