William Eyden, Jr. (1893-1982)

Although not directly associated with Cincinnati, Eyden is known to have worked in Ohio, painting colorful landscapes near the Indiana - Ohio border. Born in Richmond, Indiana, Eyden studied with his father, W. A. Eyden Sr. and later with T. C. Steele, the dean of Indiana landscape artists. He is represented in many private and public collections, having exhibited and won several Hoosier Salons and other shows in Indianapolis and Richmond.
