(American, 1882-1979)
Julie Morrow De Forest was born in New York in 1882. She was an impressionist painter who frequently depicted the old homes of Cincinnati surrounded by sunlight and by foliage. She traveled in Massachusetts and New York and also painted shores and country scenes.
